UZR is short for Unterzug repetierer, which is German for repeating rifle. The UZR is a lower pull or grip operated repeating rifle; an innovative, modern design of the classic lever action and straight pull repeating rifle.

The action is operated by sliding the grip assembly forwards and backwards. The UZR features a shared trigger mechanism and features a decreased trigger reset stroke. This allows the operator to reset the trigger quickly while operating the action and the shot can be taken precisely as the bolt returns to battery. The unique design allows the buttstock to be easily shouldered and tightly held against the shoulder with the fore-hand (“X-Holding”) leaving the shooting hand free to operate the grip action.

The UZR has a 6-wart-rotating-bolt that remains closed until the operator pulls the grip action back toward the buttstock opening the bolt. The bolt does not open independently of the action resulting in reduced gas and powder residue escaping from the breech. This is noticeable during cleaning the UZR and cleaning intervals can be much longer as compared to typical AR platforms.

The UZR features a simple, effective design for the grip action. The action is manufactured with a minimal amount of parts to minimize failures and allows for faster operation of the grip action. In addition, the ejector has been designed in a way to minimize the distance the casings are ejected from the breech leaving them close to the operator.

The UZR weighs 6lbs, 9oz (2980g) with an empty magazine and without optics. The balanced center of gravity makes the UZR easy to carry, shoulder, aim and shoot in any shooting position.

The UZR is designed, engineered and manufactured in Germany. Each rifle is handmade with tight tolerances making the rifle more consistent and accurate from shot to shot. The innovative design of the UZR is easy to operate and highly effective. Over a short period of time the operator will be able to fire faster and with more accuracy.

Using a red-dot or scope, the UZR shoots consistently within 1” circles.

The pre-tightening of the slider is adjustable with a set of included spacers so that each sport shooter can adjust the operation of the grip action to his/hers individual feel. For hunters a special tightening spring can be installed and is included with each rifle. The trigger force is adjustable between 12 and 20N (3-5 lbs).

Because there is no automatic reloading as with a semi-auto, each shot can be chosen individually depending on the target and situation. The suitable ammunition with focus on type, weight and load can be chosen for each target or situation. For law enforcement the ammunition type can be selected between shots simply by changing magazines.

The 3-layer design of the housing and the sliding mechanic give the UZR a unique look and feel and you can choose between a red or a black trigger and magazine button.
